RANGE OF ANIMAL/POULTRY WHOLE CARCASS AND REMAINS
HS Thermal Limited is based in Manchester in the UK, specialising in the design and manufacture of the extensive “PHYROS” range of combustion systems. We have established ourselves as the leading UK manufacturer of bespoke designs, used as a solution for the disposal of animal carcass/remains. These units are used to destroy animal by products at meat and poultry processing plants, slaughterhouses, abattoirs, farms, research centres and pet crematoria for the individual or mass cremation of pets.

ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARDS
Our extensive range of systems are manufactured employing the most up to date technology and procedures, to ensure only the highest quality equipment leaves our factory. Our equipment satisfies the most stringent of environmental pollution control standards and meets fully the requirements of the Animal By Products Regulation 1774/2002, the latest European standards and has Type Approval by DEFRA in the UK.

DESCRIPTION
These systems comprise of large capacity primary chambers and extended secondary gas treatment chambers with a 2 second residence time, which ensures complete destruction of the combustion products. They operate cleanly and efficiently without producing smoke or smell. Their simple, proven design, in conjunction with the use of high quality materials, promotes an extended lifespan with minimal maintenance.

BURNERS
Primary ignition and secondary auxiliary burners are fitted to support combustion to ensure the material is destroyed to a clean, dry, inert ash and the required minimum secondary chamber temperatures are maintained at all times. Burners may be operated using natural gas, fuel oil or LPG. They are fully automatic in operation and temperature controlled to optimise fuel usage.

CONTROL SYSTEM
These incineration systems feature a user-friendly control system, designed to conserve fuel and self correct any temperature or emission parameters out of tolerance.

MATERIALS HANDLING EQUIPMENT
Animal by products/carcass material may be introduced manually, via the bulk access door, or alternatively various methods of automatic loading facilities may be utilised, such as automatic ram loaders, top load chutes, bin tipping devices and storage hoppers.

CAPACITY
We manufacture low capacity combustion systems rated at less than 50kg/hour and high capacity plants complete with emission monitoring and where necessary, flue gas abatement plant, to meet the most stringent of environmental legislation.

AFTER SALES SUPPORT
Qualified engineers carry out installation and commissioning and a full comprehensive training programme is provided. After sales support is provided by our carefully selected agent or us. A full range of spares is available at all times.
